The Brackley Partners is a group of highly skilled HR and development consultants. Our team is drawn from extremely diverse backgrounds and is therefore able to provide a quality consultancy service across a wide range of HR and development disciplines. On average our consultants have over 18 years’ experience in HR and management consulting.

Rob Hamblin


Rob has more than 25 years’ experience of providing a comprehensive H.R. consultancy service to large corporations both in the U.K. and overseas. He has a very broad skills base having directly managed projects that relate to organisational change, occupational assessment, performance management, leadership and executive development. Rob specialises in the delivery of high impact development programmes that are designed to enhance personal and business effectiveness.  Rob has worked with many client organisations including:  Excel Logistics, Innogy, Rank Leisure, Argos Ltd., Lex Services, T-Mobile and Shell Oil.

Paul Gausden


Paul has spent 22 years providing a broad management development portfolio to many client organisations, specialising in the delivery of high impact development events, which add value to both the individual and the organisation. He has substantial experience of assessment and development centres, leadership and team development, executive coaching and culture change programmes. Amongst his many clients are: BAA, Somerfield, Argos, Dixons Stores, Mastercare, Eurostar, BSI, Going Places and EMC2.

Lisa Smale


Lisa Smale is a management development specialist with experience of delivering high-quality personal development interventions. She has over 20 years’ experience working with individuals and teams at all levels of management. She has held many corporate roles including that of Training and Development Director for a large retailer. Lisa has a degree in Hospitality Management and is a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a licensed user of a range of psychometric profiling instruments. Her client organisations include: STFC, Axminster, Wolseley, Bodicote, Merck and The Royal Household.

Sharon Collier


Sharon is a qualified coach and facilitator who has 30 years of business experience; over 14 years of which has been spent developing leaders across organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Sharon has held multiple senior change and leadership roles and combines her ‘hands on’ business and commercial experience with her knowledge of people development and behavioural change. Sharon has the ability to quickly understand organisational culture and accurately identify appropriate leadership development approaches. Her clients describe her as being challenging whilst supporting them on their leadership journey and providing them with the space in which to develop their own leadership style. Her client organisations include: The National Trust, Royal Air Force, Buckinghamshire County Council, Thornton Chocolates, Ascent Flight Training and Bath Spa University.

Georgie Hamblin


Georgie is an eLearning consultant specialising in the development of digital training solutions. Her areas of expertise include enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Performance Management Systems (PMS), eLearning authoring tools and bespoke content development. Georgie uses her knowledge of digital training to help clients launch eLearning initiatives to deliver effective training for employees across their organisation. Her clients have included Public Health England, SSE, Deloitte, ASOS, Inmarsat, Renishaw, IHS Towers and RCI Bank.

Nick Davies


Nick has over 20 years’ experience as a HR generalist both in the UK and Europe, mainly within Retail and Gaming industries, both on line (e-commerce) and off line. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. His last position was Director of HR projects at the Rank Group relocating their Digital businesses from London to Gibraltar. He has extensive experience of managing organisational change, is an accredited mediator and workplace mentor. Nick is particularly keen on helping organisations remain innovative so that differentiation of product and service are considered strategically imperative. Nick’s client organisations include:Rank Leisure, Argos, Grosvenor Casinos, Mecca Bingo and the Betclic Group.

Andrea Gregory


Andrea has 20 years’ experience of providing both training & development and more recently a generalist HR service to many organisations and has held several senior and board level HR positions. She uses innovative development methods to ensure that her interventions, whilst always challenging and different, remain focused on achieving clear business goals. Her many clients include: Enterprise Oil, Going Places, Eurostar, Dixons Stores, Gameplay, Somerfield and Virgin Holidays.

Paula Cook


Paula Cook has over 20 years’ experience in the field of management and organisational development. Paula’s work has spanned a wide range of contexts, from working with government and NGOs in Sub-Saharan Africa to private sector companies in the Middle East, Europe and South America. She works frequently with global, cross-cultural teams and has supported organisations through mergers and reorganisations that bring the challenge of generating a common culture within a diverse group. She works in English, French, Spanish and German. Clients include Cargill, Essity (previously known as SCA), BTC (the Belgian Development Agency), Engie (previously known as GDF Suez), BNY Mellon, Vodafone and a number of companies in the pharmaceutical sector, including Novartis, Merck and Boehringer Ingelheimy.

Carol Jefkins


Carol is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist specialising in assessment for selection and development. Her particular areas of expertise include competency design, executive assessment and assessment and development centres. Carol has spent 25 years as both an internal and external consultant and balances best practice with pragmatism, developing creative solutions that fit with an organisation’s priorities and values.  She has worked across a variety of industry sectors including law, financial and professional services, telecommunications, media, pharmaceuticals, retail, hospitality and leisure, as well as central government and public sector agencies.

Jennie Davis


Jennie Davis is an experienced organisational development specialist, coach, designer and facilitator. She is skilled in driving culture change and engagement, developing leadership capability, and delivering creative development solutions that improve personal and business performance. She has 25 years+ experience in people development across, financial, retail, manufacturing, law, travel, civil service, and education sectors. Organisations Jennie has worked with include University of Bristol, Bailey Caravans, Jo Malone London, Certsure LLP, Halfords, Bristol Community Health, Accolade Wines, Provident Finance, Tui, Bath Spa University, and University of Exeter.

Julia Macmillan


Julia has over 28 years’ experience in HR, Training and Development. Previous employment includes being an Area Personnel Manager for an internationally renowned security company; working as Head of Training in an acute NHS Trust for 10 years and 16 years freelance consultancy experience. She has been responsible for a variety of culture change initiatives by helping organisations identify and embed their corporate values. Julia has a B .Ed degree, an M.Sc. (Human Resource Development); is an NLP practitioner and has an Advanced Diploma in Coaching as well as being a member of the CIPD. Julia has worked with many sectors and companies including a number of NHS Trusts, The Cambian Group, The Carbon Trust, Martin Baker Group, Care South, Knightstone Housing, Medway Council, and the Society and College of Radiographer.

Sally Rixon


Sally is an organisational and management development specialist who has experience of formulating and managing training and development initiatives at all levels of the organisational structure. She has spent 25 years in large FMCGs holding many corporate roles including that of Head of Organisational Development for a multi-million pound business. Sally has been responsible for delivering the people strategy, developing leadership capability, implementing performance management systems and complex change management programmes. Her client organisations include: Asda, Virgin Holidays, OSI, Axminster, LIPA, Foot Anstey and Bath Spa University.

Bruce Hoverd


Bruce has gained significant international consulting experience over the last 20 years having worked on development projects in the Far East, the Middle East and Europe. Bruce specialises in the delivery of high impact development events, designed to enhance business competitiveness. He concentrates on linking leadership, influencing, coaching and feedback processes and ensuring these are integrated with business strategies. Bruce has many client organisations including: Xerox UK, Blockbuster International, ICL, Courtaulds and Granada Technology.

Jo North


Jo has leading-edge expertise in working with companies to optimise their commercial creative potential build an innovative, entrepreneurial capability into organisational culture. She brings a unique perspective to people and organisational development as she combines her mentoring, facilitation and innovation skills with real world, commercial business experience. Jo has proven expertise in designing and delivering commercial innovation activities and also in coaching high potential managers and directors. She has worked in a variety of different industries – from accountancy to retailing, publishing and transport, where she acquired significant experience of working at Board level across a number of sector-leading businesses. Organisations Jo has worked with include: Somerfield, Northern Rail, First Group, East Coast Mainline and Northumberland Water.

Richard Cartlidge


Richard is passionate about developing organisations and individuals so that they can realise their potential, often in situations where the stakes are high. He has always been drawn to organisations that have a clear sense of purpose and where making a difference is important. Richard has a proven leadership capability across several different sectors. His success is built on his ability to get alongside people and build strategic relationships, winning the respect and support of senior stakeholders. Richard is a strategic thinker and an enabler, adept at nurturing innovative approaches with a ‘hands-on’ approach when required. Organisations he has worked with include: CAE, World Share, CSA Group, Skanska, Environment Agency and Avon & Somerset Police.
